We have just completed our mobile solar demonstration unit.
Sponsored by C J Richards Electrical and Nu-Heat the trailer has a fully working solar hot water system & can demonstrate just how much free energy can be gained from ultra violet, even during the winter months!
The unit is equipped with solar panel, pumping station, hot water cylinder and a basin to draw hot water off to demonstrate just how well our system works prior to purchasing it, we will be displaying the trailer at different events through out the coming year!
One of the most expensive elements of updating to a solar system is changing your existing hot water cylinder, if this cylinder is relatively new why replace it?
There is a new innovation called the Sola Plug, this plug replaces your existing immersion heater and introduces a second heat exchanger to your existing cylinder, so converting it into a solar cylinder.The heat exchanger (sometimes referred to as a coil or calorifier) connected to your boiler is unaffected. This retro fit is also suitable for converting direct cylinders into solar cylinders, reducing your electricity bill.
